WordPress Designer.

The New Divi 3.0 is FINALLY HERE. You are about to embark on a journey unlike any other. The new divi page builder allows you see the changes you make to your wordpress website while you visually see it. This is known as the new visual editor. I have put some pictures and layout packs to download here.

Here are some pictures and tools to help get you started. I have includded a picture and backround pack to help get you started to create a website with Divi

The first thing you will need to do is get hosting. I recommend the following:

These hosting companies are really reputable and work good. Green geeks web hosting and tmdhosting provide SSD hosting which is a much faster form of hosting and can really increase the speed of your website

This is the code you need to enter the custom CSS Module. I will go over this more in the tutorial

The next thing you will need to do is start watching the tutorial. Feel free to watch the video below to learn how to create an amazing website from scratch using the divi theme

  1. Man thank you so much for this. I did your whole video and then also discovered your entire youtube library. So good.
I have had an internet coaching business for 10 years. Started doing my own sites 3 years ago. Your videos break so much down.
I’m currently following your Facebook Page video. We shall see how it goes. If you even need a testimonial, just let me know.

I am building my new site all from your tutorials. It is live now, but definitely not finished.

    Thanks so much!

  2. I love your tutorials, have learned so much. I am rebuilding an old site, converting it from wordpress.com to .org and have purchased Divi and it is going very well, with your help. I do have one question tho…and can’t seems to find the setting for it. How do you get ride of the CircleD Divi on the Menus?

  3. Hey Darrel,
Was just exposed to Divi 3 & your tutorials, fantastic job !!
The script which is so unique not working for me too despite all kind of copy paste..Can you email it to me or be more spesific as for the solution?

      1. Hey Darrel,
I tried to copy from your above code:
        content:””; display: block; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; left: ; width: 107%; background-image: linear-gradient( -100deg, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) 0%, rgba(00, 0, 0, 0) 55%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7) 55%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) 55%)

with no success..can you email me or instruct me what my issue might be?
If you go to http://nilymedical.co.il & click on the news tab in the main menu you can see the picture I’m trying to add your unique code..

      2. Hey again,
I tried to copy from your description but it still does not work.
Can you email me the exact code or any other advice I can use?
The site is not in the internet yet.

        Thanks a lot,

        1. hey arnon,

make sure its in the “before” section and also with the Blue Gear Icon.

          Here is the script

          content:””; display: block; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; left: ; width: 105%; background-image: linear-gradient( -100deg, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) 0%, rgba(00, 0, 0, 0) 55%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7) 55%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) 55%)

let me know if this works

  4. Hi Darrel,
Unfortunately it again did not work.
I emailed you with a screen shot of the page I’m trying to use the script hoping you will find my mistake..

    Thanks A lot !

  5. Hey Darrel,
I followed your advice refering to elegantthemes support & they solved the issue. I did not copied the code as I should & that’s caused the problem.
Thank you very much for your prompt replyes & great support!!

  6. Try this script:

    content:””; display: block; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; left: ; width: 105%; background-image: linear-gradient( -100deg, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) 0%, rgba(00, 0, 0, 0) 55%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7) 55%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) 55%)

Because the error come from : content:””

  7. Hey Darrel, how is it going?

Do you, by any chance, know how to make the full width header responsive? It looks way different on mobile devices

  8. Hey, Darrel, I am not able to download the file from dropbox its showing that link has expired. Can you help me out??

  9. Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin

  10. I drop a comment when I especially enjoy a article
on a site or I have something to valuable to contribute to
the conversation. It is caused by the sincerness displayed in the
article I looked at. And after this post DIVI THEME
3.0 TUTORIAL FOR WORDPRESS | Darrel Wilson. I was actually moved
enough to drop a commenta response 🙂 I do have some questions for you if
it’s okay. Is it just me or do some of these comments appear as if they
are left by brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are writing at other
online sites, I’d like to follow anything new you have to post.
Could you make a list all of your public pages like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?

  11. I amm extremely impressed with your writing skillls and also with the layout on yyour blog.
Is thiss a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this
    one these days.

  12. Hello Darrel,

The last Comment post I see here was well over a year ago, so perhaps this section is now turned off? Or maybe this site is one of your older projects no longer closely inspected (I am retired and have a few old sites I built before I had a concussion and haven’t since been able to actively manage those built in Dreamweaver nor WordPress, so realize such can happen due to various factors and hope you are okay)?

For now I’ll just share one typo I’m sure you’d like to update (as of 2019 December 18). There may be a typo up nearer to the top of this page…
GreekGeek…[?] hosting link seems rather to point to a …GreenGeek… as a redirect link and/or affiliate link.

As I am no longer able to recall how to use Adobe Dreamweaver at all (after the concussion (formerly, I was an Information Technologist and Commercial Artist for a Caribbean law firm and others) and now find even WordPress on it’s own continues to be way too mysterious and challenging for me to date.

However, today I watched one of your videos on using DIVI Builder with WP and was freshly inspired … I bought the DIVI lifetime version with the aim to rebuild at least one simple website for a long-time friend for her retirement work doing kids’ face-painting parties (she is using WIX for now but finds it way too costly).

And I desire to do a couple websites for myself sharing a couple older analog skills I haven’t seemed to have forgotten, such as driving (these last ten years as part-time professional chauffeur who regularly earns far improved tips and higher rates as requested chauffeur by repeat clientele over my co-workers, whom I have also proven to be able to train in providing superior service, upping their tips too).

Thank you, Darrel, for your guidance toward a revived belief that I can SOON begin to share such skills online as well,,
